Autosol. Expensive but you only need a little.
Last time I polished my rims, I jacked up the car so the tires were off the ground. Then I could easily "reach" the rim and rotate it as necessary.
Of course, after about an hour working on the front rims, I was tempted to start the Cobra and put it in gear ... and just hold the rag against the rotating rim. Tempted, but not foolish enough to do it.
