jberg: thanks for the compliments. I do hope that a 1:1 model is in my future
I was originally thinking engine and chasis, but I"m starting to hit a point where my computer throws up the white flag and shows me the desktop. (pushing a couple million polys for my render version). So... maybe.... might try and do it and then render in separate passes then composite it all together.
froggyman: thanks for the feedback, looking into it right now... I think I made the mistake and started with some blueprints of a 289, the leading edge of the doors are definately not from a 427. I thought I had the rear end sorted, but guess not, haha. If you see anything else, definitely don't' be shy.
playing with materials for the lights and radiator... still a work in progress, but coming together slowly. Should have a post soon. Wish I could post bigger images, such a shame to render out some big shots, just to down res them to post 'em
