I was saddened when I first heard that Hurricane was to be sold. At that time I had decided to go with them, it was just a matter of making the final arrangements. But then the first deal fell through and everything was up in the air… so I second thoughts.
Once they worked out a deal with CRW and Jay joined I had hoped that things would settle down and get back normal for Hurricane. But, in the mean time, I had decided to go with Factory Five. I ordered my complete MK 3.1 kit on July 7th and it was sitting in my garage on July 30th. My decision to go with Factory Five was reinforced by the way they have handled the recent shock issue … and now with Jay leaving I feel that I have made the right decision for me. I wish Hurricane the best of luck in the future.
