I'm not one to talk since I've also pigged out since last year...however, have you heard of ...Lycra-Spandex? Ginny Craig and Weight Watchers swear by the product. It is available in various quantities in most notions departments. Maybe Mary could alter your Nomex SPF driving suit to provide you seam-stretching comfort as you contort yourself to "blend " into the Coupe.
