I need to cover and seal off a notch I made in a nitrophil carbruetor float. I forgot what epoxy I was told to and did use

I have a smalll 3.3fl. kit of 3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 1751 B/A There in't any bragg about being fuel resistan more like here it is take or leave it. Ay Knowledge of this stuff?
