A 300 Watt should be OK as long as you are not using the PC to do anything else. I used to prefer NVIDIA myself until I compared them side by side. I could not tell a difference and the ATI cost less. I have not seen many video cards out there that carry the audio signal as well. You may have to run a separate audio line to the TV.
