I would definitely tend to agree, but the price differential between a local dealer and a dealer in another state can be significant and hard to ignore. When I was inquiring about the SPF GT40 (roller), the price difference between one dealer who was willing to negotiate and the local dealer who didn't want to negotiate was huge. All other things being equal, like price and customer service, then I would say support your local dealer. However, if you can find a reputable dealer in the SPF network and there's a significant price difference, then money talks.
