Same as mine Bobby, harder is clockwise. It is usually printed on a sticker on the body of the shock.

Early series had 8 adjustments...later ones 12 I think, maybe 16.
EDIT.....looks like 28 adjustments on the new ones.

The initial "clicks" from soft are hard to feel, but they get better as you wind them up.

Actually they are a good shock....the only problem being they mostly use imperial size springs.

Mine take 57mm springs (2.25")....not 60mm as one would expect.
