Suggest you (and the seller) go to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation website, their DMV has a category called "hobbyist" and I think you will find replica car registration guidelines to follow. The State of Wisconsin's DOT appears to be more "understanding" towards replicas, making registration a little more straight forward than some other states. They basically tossed replicas, street rods, antiques, and collectibles into the same pot. Just make the seller has all his documentation "air tight", oh, and don't forget your checkbook!
