We should never underestimate a Texas Cowgirl, that just so happens to be a teacher as well. In the country here boys and girls are brought up around guns and know how to handle them from an early age.

I was 8 or 9 when I was handed my first 357 Magnum. Yep, Dad was there and he was in control to be sure. He just wanted me to know what it would do if it was not respected. It was a lesson he learned from his father and my son has learned from me.

I certainly do agree there MUST be very diligent training for teachers to carry at campus. I think the school board would not want the liability either.

Jamo, I also agree that some that call themselves teachers today could not get out of a wet paper bag and I sure as hell would not want them to be armed.
