That's a lot of motor for the money. In 1994 I paid $12,500 for an iron block, iron head 10.1 to 1 engine that only made 411 horsepower, and burned 3 quarts of
oil every 1,000 miles. And it wrapped the dipstick around the crank because the builder forgot to drill a hole in the windage tray for the dipstick to go through.

All this and some more that I didn't elaborate on a freshly-built engine with a NOS block.
