Jack21,

>> Junkyards are South of DC...

I've called all the yards within about 40 miles - North and South of DC and haven't turned up a single one yet that had a 460 pickup.

>>What are you using for a steering rack, PS pump, hoses, alternator?

I am using a 1993 Mustang GT rack. I'd like to use a 1990 - 1993 Mustang alternator and PS pump. Power steering hoses will need to be fabricated.

>> Set w/ everything except PS was around $250 or so (Summit)

Set of March brackets and pulleys from Summit are just over $550. The alternator, PS pump and pulley are not included, and will run $200 plus. March uses a Saginaw (GM) pump which may be a learning experience, i.e., will it work with my rack or not?

HighPlainsDrifter,

Do you have a picture of your setup that shows the alternator and PS pump brackets?

Do you use a single groove pulley for the water pump?

Regards to all,

Tom
