I cut the posts off before gluing the emblems on. You don't need them and it can be a ***** to try and drill two holes in the body that end up with the emblem perfectly straight.
You can use one post (and hole) as a guide and break off the other one. Glue or two sided tape both work just fine. To remove, use a piece of dental floss and work it back and forth under the emblem. They will come right off.
