It does sound like the rotors are warped. I have never had luck turning newer rotors. You can try it, but don't be surprised if in 5000 miles, the wheel is shaking again.

I wouldn't use Ford products either. I would buy Brembo rotors if they are available, and a good aftermarket brake pad. It will be a noticeable improvement in braking distance.
