Ron you are spot on. "Also did I misread the original question, as I thought it was What is the Write In Vote Line For, not How To Vote? Anyway this isn't much help but it was all that I could find out when I called and asked."

In the Arizona Primary the write in spot can only be used for a prequalified, preregistered canidate of that Party so why have a space for write ins? If the person met all the PRE requirements to be a candidate their name would be printed on the ballot and not a write in. Adding names other than a prequalified Party candidate in the write in spot will void your ballot.
