Thanks for all the replies. Before I added the cowl ducting and the second fan my engine would go to 110C and higher. The list started by changing the gauge to a mechanical gauge which I put in water until it boiled and showed 100C at boiling. It had a restrictor plate so I replaced it with an 180 degree thermostat. I checked the pulleys and they are equal. I put an aluminum radiator with a shroud and a puller fan. I then put 25/75 percent
antifreeze with water wetter. Each step helped some so I guess it is an accumulation of things. If the outside temperature outside is under 90 degrees it usually runs at 88C unless in stop and go traffic or teasing a Vet. I personally don't like riding in 90 deree heat so I may not have solved the total problem, it stays way cooler than when I started. Thanks again everybody, you are the greatest. Chas
