Actually, under Obama's plan you will (1) pay no tax if you're a senior citizen (over 55? - over 75?- currently undefined), (2) get a break of $1,000 per FAMILY if you rake in $75K or less (he says the $1K is more than they currently pay in taxes..
). NOWHERE does he say you will get a TAX CUT. Nowhere.
However, he DOES seek to maul you on (1) inheritance taxes (you currently get massive relief from this, thanks to Bush), (2) raise taxes on capital gains....you better hope you don't sell your house.
Ohblahblah will seek to keelhaul the rich - which doesn't bother me since I ain't. But his pet social programs are a nightmare for those of us who like Big Government off our backs. This alone is reason to send him back to Illinois.
