Steve: I figure with travel, fuel, entry fees, crash damage, parts, repairs, beer and scotch, meals, ingredients for chocolate chip cookies (pit snack), and licensing, dues, finger and toenail repair for the crew chief (finger & toe nails get chipped or broken when torquing wheels) it would cost $1,500.00 per race weekend. The experience ending up on the podium is however, priceless!
