I can't wait to see the new cars and all of the changes that you guys have done to your rides. I got back from my trip late friday. I had all week to think about my car and decided to make a few changes. On Sat I cut some of the frame a part and redid it. I finished painting the chassis last night. Today I start final assembly. I get to drill and rivet on over 30 aluminum panels. What fun!!!
I leave for Run n Gun 3 weeks from today. I don't think that I can build the car and have the quality of paint job done that I want in that time frame. Probably will have to bring the car in primer. Bummer. I am planning to drive the Cobra to the event. What better way to shake it down. Plus it gets over 30mpg. My tow rig gets 9 and I will keep the wear and tear off of my truck.
Hopefully all goes well and I get it done!!!
