I have been looking at alternative energy as far as transportation goes and the only options for the new future are cng and biodiesel.
Cng's problem is not much as far as stations go only about 800 in the country.
Biodiesel: not enough people want to drive a diesel and the gelling problem(easy fix w/heaters) at cold temps.
Ethanol: We can't grow enough sugarcane here in the states.
Fuel Cells: at least 5yrs but more like 10 or 15 yrs off and no infustructure for hydrogen.
So I say drill drill drill drill
