I feel your pain!!! I have admired the engineering of the jbl. I am just finishing my own scratch built Cobra that uses a steel space frame with new Corvette drivetrain and suspension. I have also built several cars from scratch over the years and have gotten pretty good at fiberglass work.
If I remember correctly the jbl has a wider than stock body so a custom hood would have to be made. I have a hood mold that I could lay up an modify to fit your opening. The problem is that I would need to have the car on hand to fit it. I am in New Hampshire so that is not convienent. I am going to be at Run n Gun.
