hi everyone
been quite a while since i last visited club cobra. so much for my so called retirement! been super busy. anyway, because of conflicts with my tennis schedule i've had to change the dates of my cobra by the bay car event.
the dates for the 'cobras by the bay 2008' are november 14 and 15. on friday the 14th we will meet at the local hooters for an impromptu show and shine. saturday we will meet in the morning at a local car dealership for another show and shine and then leave from there for a cruise around the bay with a stop for seafood before returning to corpus christi. that night for those that are still kicking we will meet at the local a&w for 'all cars night'. i'll have more details later.
been busy with my tennis schedule and building cars. played the national father daughter grasscourts in boston and thanks to the excelent play of my daughter julie we won our 5th title! didn't know it then but i was coming down with a mono type viral infection that lasted for almost 5 weeks. tried to play the national father son grasscourts in new york a couple of weeks later but wore down and we lost to the number 3 seeds in a close maatch. i felt bad for my son as he played excellent tennis. for a summary of the two tourneys cllick on the following links.

hurricane ike gave us a scare but veered north and slammed the houston- galveston area pretty hard. hope all of the houston group came out ok. a little wind here but no rain.
and cars. delivering one this week. another in two weeks and then two more after that.
