I happen to have two FEs for sale.
If you are going to do a 427 ( 3.78 stroke ), you need a block that will take a 4.23 bore. there are a few FE 390 blocks that can do it, but you will spend more money and time trying to find that block.
So, a smaller bore 428 can be had for less.
