Ran into issue with the FORD BOSS 302 block (new one) and my 1970 style BOSS302 oil pan and timing cover combo. Problem --no dipstick boss in F6 style timing cover.

--engine in car, all together,.ugh!!!

--the modern boss 302 block has a dipstick tube boss in the drivers side of the block, the boss302 (repro) pan has a front sump./ they dont line up.

I am running an oil cooler, and this is a street car so i think i will go with a rear sump Fox style pan for now and get it on the street.

also saving about $400 in the process.
