Jimbocobra,

A dealer is not necessary. Think of all the Factory Five Cobra's out there and there is only one Dealer in the world (outside of Boston.) You have to hook up with some Cobra guys in your area they will be a wealth of knowledge. They can direct you to local hot rod shops etc. Check this forum under local clubs, also go to www.ffcobra.com the factory five site and look around there for guys in your local area.

The most important thing is to learn your car. Jack it up(use jack stands) crawl underneath and have someone work the clutch. At that moment all will be reveled to you. You will see the slave (the only thing moving)and appreciate how it operates. I have a feeling you have a pusher type of slave, they are about $20.00 rebuilt at NAPA. You ask for a slave for a Mazda pickup truck I think the year is '85. Bring your old one along and compare it. Two bolts mount it, one bolt on the push rod. One hydraulic line.

The heat shield mounts under the master slave and uses the two bottom bolts of the master to mount. Easy as placing a market order.
