Boy, it does bring back memories except we had A & W Root Beer Stands where we all hung out and listened to music and lied about our cars. Also a lot of races were set up at the root beer stand and we had a 1/4 mile marked off on an old unused stretch of highway that Cal Trans marked for us. That way it kept the races out of town and some Saturday nights there would be over 100 cars there and some great races.
