The finishes to the last two races have been great. Those phantom debris cautions are just for that reason. When they actually have debris on the track they make it a point to show it.
Edit: Wayne, I just went to the NASCAR site and got this. • The driver who leads the most laps receives an additional five bonus points.
Maximum points per race: 195:
That is if the winner leads the most laps also. Just winning you get 185 points, second gets 170, and the first 6 places drop offby 5 points each,until after 6th and then it is a 4 point drop per spot. Also any driver leading a lap gets 5 bonus points. So if the 2nd place driver led a lap he would get 175 points. By starting the chase drivers with 5,000 points plus 10 for each race they have won, it is out of reach for any other driver to even get into the bottom of the top 12. If a driver won all 26 races before the chase begins and led the most laps in all of them he could only have 5,50 points then.
