Default Just received my new 2008 CR rolling chassis

Hi all,

I havent posted for a while because I have been waiting for my chassis/body to arrive for 5 months. Been reading lots but havent had anything constructuve to say or ask.

Well the day happended a day earlier than expected.

I was expecting it today.

Last night I was actually going out to have a hit of tennis and next thing my mobile rings and its the "truck guy" saying he’ll be there in 20 mins.

Havent stopped grinning yet.

My sons had some friends over at the time so they thought they'd get in on the photo. (I'm the big kid in the drivers seat). Havent figured out how to do larger photos yet. Havent tried much.

Lots of late nights and weekends for me now.

Didnt sleep a wink last night.

Have been assembling all of my other bits over the last couple of months. Got my guages from Howards (nice company to deal with), Tyres from Tirerack (got them when the Aus dollar was at 97cents) and wheels are a couple of weeks away from OZWheels in NSW. Had to use local supplier due to 2008 chassis having VZ/VE hubs stud patterns. Header tank from Shaun.

Have my lights, wiring and seats and seat belts all ready to go as well.

T56 shifter already moved forward. Sideshow did my engine loom mods - good job.

Now ALL I have to do is put it all together. The fun begins.

Rgds

Gregg
