Can one go that fast?

Yes that was the only hassle (only with metric!!) but they made up for me by providing all the extra bits and adapters that I needed for the senders and their man Maurie in Sydney is so helpful. I also liked the convex faces on the set I bought, to reduce glare hopefully. (https://www.classicinstruments.com/s...?SeriesCode=HR )

The ones from "the Hut" look excellent, however. I liked the simple approach you have there. The Smiths were in my mind just not worth the double the current price for the Classics. What kind of dash material are you using wood or aluminium?
