As far as I know all the pans were made for the 750-780 carb. The original was 780. I don't think they made them any bigger. Why are you using an 850? Did you dyno with it to check it? It could be over-carbed. You don't want to bog at idle. I run a trick 750 that flows like a 950 but has the snap down low like a 750.
