I honestly don't understand how or why
anyone could passionately support either of the candidates running for office. What a pathetic choice we've been left with. I certainly understand the passion for republicanism and democratic ideals but neither candidate seems to be in line with either of those party's definitions. Sadly, Oboma is more in line with democratic ideals than McCain is for republicanism ideals. Unfortunately, democratic ideals are simply wrong for America and Oboma is wrong for America as well. Now we're all left to choose the best of the worst. I just can't bring myself to think.."I'm for republicanism in America and therefore I'm for McCain". f**k that. He's a bumbling idiot.
If you support taking from others to give to others (that would be liberal democtrats) then I guess you have a choice. That's what Oboma represents. On the the other hand, if you want to move toward a true republic society, (which you should be) then we really don't have a strong candidate to bring us there. McCain and Palin are a laughable choice to support needed republicanism ideals.
A democracy is simply a stepping stone toward a republic (what we should be and what our country was founded upon). Democracy might be a good goal for a country like Iraq. It's better than what they have now but it's not what
WE need. Neither of these idiots have our best interest in mind and neither candidate is for governing the government but rather governing the people. Take a look at
this video by The John Birch Society and ask yourself what form of government you think might be in place here in America today.
As far as our Canadian friends are concerned, if you don't like what's going on here in the good ol' USA then keep your mouth shut. You will never come even close to the sacrifices we've made here to build a nation. You take all that is good and you condemn what is bad
without sacrifice.
