Now for sure is a good time for exporting cars over to Europe in deed! You need to check into the requirements of registration and getting it into the country too. I had a fella in France once inquiring about mine and he had to have a Cobra WITH a title stating a 1965, not 1997 when it was made. This was no problem (as I had all of his requirements) but there was a middle man trying to make too much on it and the deal fell through. Like others have said: what to look for depends HEAVILY on what you can afford and the different styles (289 FIA, slapside, 427 SC, etc.). I would figure out a realistic budget, get a quote for shipping, find a car with any registration requirements needed, and THEN still put some more money aside for changes you may want to make. These cars are typically very personal and they come with options you may not care for. Good luck, Matt.
