Bob,
The turn signal flasher should be under the dash, usually just to the right of the steering column. It is a conventional signal flasher, looks like a small cylinder.

The flasher is usually mounted in a bracket. Many times, the bracket will squeeze the flasher just enough over time, and it won't work.

I removed my flasher from the braket, and tucked in up in the wire harness. If need be, you can get a replacement flasher at just about any auto parts store.
