Steve, Wo did your carb? Is it based on the Holley core or a Demon?
I'm running a Demon 850 and in all actuality, I might be better off with a 750. I'd like to try one first though.

Re. the scoop: I made an airbox that mounts on top of my carb, with a foam seal to the hood. The first time I tried it, I actually lost some top-end punch, and when I got back home and looked into the scoop, the foam was actually sucked in at the top from the vacuum generated due to the small scoop opening.
Needless to say, it hasen't been back on the car since.
(Man I wish that scoop was bigger)
