The first thing everyone asks about the motor is, "Is it a 427 FE"?. Why not just do it right and use any of the FE combos. and have the one everyone is expecting.

Any Ford is good and plenty of Chevys make a great Cobra, but having the original type motor is part of the Cobra Thing.....just my silly opinion.

Oh Ya..there's not a whole lot of money difference when building these things..all the motors are expensive.
