I can't ever remember anyone being disappointed when I've opened my hood to reveal four hundred and sixty cubic inches of SVO motor. The educated observer would certainly appreciate a 427 side oiler but after that if you have to start explaining the facts about the number of FE motors that where in the original Cobra as opposed to side oilers....well then I think just having a big block ford in your Cobra is what matters most. That is if you have to have a big block. I had a Unique FIA w/a built 302 and it was almost as fast as my big block and I miss that car to this day. The man who bought the car died a mile from my house after loosing control and hitting a palm tree. Cool cars but not very forgiving.
