nothing to do with your original post, but just an observation or two. the upper hose is pretty heavy with the filler on it, i would support it or it may vibrate
and crack the gooseneck on the radiator. the fan looks like a good air mover but you may have idle overheating without a shroud pulling the air thru the parts of the radiator the fan isn't in front of. see my gallery for how i did the electric fan with a shroud i have a pic of the radiator out of the car
