I use a microswitch on the bottom of the handle and the red light above the ignition switch. We never use the light for the alternators (1 wire). I have one customer that needs an alarm siren on his. I have done a buzzer on the light switch though. In twilight, you can't tell if the lights in the "prince of darkness" gauges are on or off. How many times have you heard "you left your lights on".
