Hey there Wazza, looks like a good time was had by all.
Just a thought (and this is my opinion nothing more) but in the latest street machine magazine it is a fairly big claim by Joe to say he has the fastest Cobra, most powerful I would think is a given, but not sure about fastest.

As was proven at the Nationals a few weeks ago, it isn't raw power that makes these cars fast.

But aside from that it certainly looks to be a well put together car.

You're quite right Box...
It would depend on how you were measuring it.
In a straight line, with the right tyres...I can't see how it wouldn't be the one to beat.

If you're talking about around a race track...a different story.

Ashley Bright was a good example of that with his "Mid 200 h.p." Cobra getting around Wakefield in 1m.09 secs. ...
The Prick !!

However , Joe's car is producing H.P. at around the same volume as the Weineck Cobra...
http://www.weineck-power.de/main.html
( I can't imagine it'd have the ridiculous amount of torque that the Weineck has though )..

and they have some frightening claims to the speed that they're making.

# 0-200 km/h 4,9 s.
# 0-300 km/h 10 s.
# Weight to power ratio: 0,9 Kg / hp

I've been in the workshop when this car was being built, ( My son, Michael , a.k.a."Egg one" was the apprentice at the workshop at the time ), and I was there for the first time it fired up, and it "HURT" !!!!

The whole building rattled, and I decided at the time that I would NEVER be a passenger in this car.

It sounds a lot more refined now that it's finished, but Joe gave it a "blat" in the underground car park here in Surfers Paradise the other day...and everybody flinched...it was like a fighter jet had just flown over us at about 100 feet !!!

Almost needed new dacks !!!

He also showed us his freshly broken windscreen, broken from top to bottom, where he'd given it a "touch" on the M1 at 110 k.p.h., and despite the extra stiffening of the chassis, the torque twist broke his windscreen !!

And this was in "Street Mode"....i.e. the Supercharger dialed right down, and it was ONLY producing approx 690 r.w.h.p.

He swears it's really easy to drive at this level.

Not a Cobra for me....I LOVE power, but I like to be in control of it at all times.

Gotta tip my hat to Joe though , for creating his own work of art.
It's a hell of a machine.
