If it were me I'd sure be interested in the specific sonic results of any 428 bored 0.060" over, not a so called representative set of results that should indicate that a particular catagory of blocks "should" be capable of accepting a 0,060 over bore. The service blocks had just as much problems with core shifting as any other 428 block. I've seen very few 428s that could accept a 0.060" bore without severely compromising "reliable" cylinder wall thickness. The only thing the service blocks had over the "ordinary" 428 was their increased "cobra jet" style webbing.

This is not meant to throw any stones at an engine builder, just my thoughts on what's said.
