As Company market and financial stability conditions change, the sponsors will continue to adjust their expenditures to promote their best interests. Not sure, but the holding company that owns Sears and K-Mart, is not as profitable over the past few years as they had once been.
Kodak dropped it's NASCAR sponsorship after 22 years. But, it was mentioned that over 60% of it's sales were now outside of the US and will now shift it's sports marketing to professional golf.
