I am looking at buying a Contemporary Classics cobra that was built by the factory with straight mufflers instead of the standard side-pipes.

Is there any way to install side-pipes without modifying the body at all? An issue that may cause a problem is that the engine and tranny are Chevy and not Ford, so standard cobra side-pipes might not work. I might have to look at side-pipes from a 1968-1969 Corvette.
