I believe all of what you guys are saying. I think the whole thing would be a non issue with a little "please" and "thank you" and "for your help, I will email you a copy". That would be the only way I would do it. When I am at a car show, I even ask if it is OK to shoot the car. I have never been turned down yet. And if anyone said no, I would have no problem with that either. And if someone said that they would prefer that I not use the image for profit..I have no problem with that.
