I had a chance to check the compression today and it looks good (190 to 195 for all cylinders). I checked the basics and found no
oil in the water or water in the
oil. I also drained the
oil and it looked fine. I replaced the oil/filter and started it up again this afternoon. The engine started right up, no shaking, smoke, or anything unusal...except for the knocking sound.
Since it's under warranty, I'm not going to turn any bolts. I've got a call into the Roush dealer in Reno and I'll go from there.
