Lodi,

You do not need your receipts for the engine and transmission, but you will need the MCO and the sales receipt for the car. Just put an honest estimate of the cost of the engine and transmission on the Statement of Construction DMV form. When you finish the SB100 process, whenever, they will want a copy of the engine and transmission receipts and they will check the amounts against your estimate that you made previously.
