Where did you buy your TV from?
My audio board went out on my DLP I bought from Conns and I bought the 3 year in home service plan. They told me that they could not help me since I live outside the service area. I was pissed as I lived there when you sold me the plan telling me I would get the service. I went in the store and complained. I then started talking to all the customers advising them not to spend any money on the service plan as it is a waste of money and they will not actually come out. That is the reason I am in the store today. After a couple of those, the sales manager came over and asked if there was anything else he could do for me and motioned to the door. I politely told him "No thanks, I don't need anything else, but I have nothing else to do today so I think I will hang out and look around." He got the message and within 5 minutes I had a scheduled visit out to my house to fix the TV.
