I would submit that, based on what I read regarding what brands they will try and save, Pontiac, Saturn, GMC and Saab are already dead if people are concerned about long term viability (earlier reference to Chapter 11 declaration).

Regardless, one way or the other, the U.S. Auto Industry is in for some very big changes in 2009.
