Dear Abby:
I just bought a bird feeder for my breakfast room picture window. The bird feeder has little suction cups that allow me to attach it right in the middle of my window. I was thinking that we could sit at breakfast and watch all the pretty birds come to the feeder. Unfortunately , I have two pesky Blue Jays that are dominating the feeder and scaring all of the other birds away. I'm using a mix of Black
Oil and Sunflower hearts in the feeder now. I'm trying to attract the pretty red Cardinals on the edge of the property but they just won't visit with the Blue Jays present. What can I use to attract the Cardinals.

Just put an alter boy in the window and you'll attract every Cardinal in your state.
