Start looking at these....

http://www.cnlperformance.com/maf_86-93.html

I run a 76mm C&L MAF with a 70mm BBK throttle body on a Trick Flow alloy headed 302 with standard bottom end. Runs a stage 1 cam and 1.6:1 roller rockers. Runs the bog standard EBGT EECV ecu for approx 270 ish rwhp. Second fastest street registered cobra at the Nationals 1.09.0.

You don't need an LS1 to go fast..... i beat 'em all..... (that'll bring 'em out)haha

I think maybe an 84mm throttle body on a 302 is a bit of overkill, unless it revs a lot more than mine.

You don't need to run the EGR, you will have to keep the wiring hooked up. Just tuck it away under the dash. The EGR basically has coolant running through it to keep the throttle body hot to get a better burn for emissions. Which is the opposite of what you need for performance. It also allows Exhaust Gas to Return to burn again to ensure more fuel is burned... it is just an emissions thing. Best to be rid of it. You can buy an EGR plug from ebay is the states to plug into the loom to delete the egr.

Just my 2 bobs worth....
