Not a bad idea. I'm looking at changing to a less restrictive muffler and this may be a better alternative to an all welded installation.
Yup, put them on my car last year, they work great. Now I have 3 sets of mufflers that I can swap out in about 15 minutes depending on the amount of noise that I want/don't want. I got mine from SPD as well.
